November is Native American Heritage Month! There are a number of ways to celebrate Native American Culture in Albuquerque, including a special exhibit at the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History.

This November, the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History is showcasing the remarkable contributions of Native American scientists and engineers in a special exhibition. Guests will be able to learn more about the significant impact that Native American mathematicians, scientists, and inventors have had on our country’s progress.
From November 1st to 30th, 2024, the museum's Periodic Hall will be adorned with a captivating poster exhibit, where you can uncover the stories of groundbreaking individuals like Jerry High Eagle Elliott, astronaut and Presidential Medal Recipient, and Dr. Susan Laflesche Picotte, the first Native American woman to become a doctor.
Admission to this exhibit is included in the cost of a museum ticket, so everyone visiting will be able to check it out.
