Get Outdoors
Be sure to spend some time outdoors this Memorial Day weekend! Head west of Albuquerque to Petroglyph National Monument, where you can walk among ancient lava flows and see ancient drawings carved into the rocks. Don't skip the hiking trails- there are lots of awesome hikes of diverse terrains and skill levels that you can tackle! To beat the heat, go early in the morning. Alternatively, cool down by trying rafting or water sports!
Attend a Festival
Two fantastic festivals take place Memorial Day weekend- and they both celebrate local drinks! The 10th Annual ABQ Beer Week will officially kick off with the popular Blues & Brews event on May 29, 2022. Come enjoy great beer and music! May 28-30, check out the 2022 New Mexico Wine Festival. "Sip" into summer at the biggest wine event in the state!
Grab a Burger
Memorial Day and burgers go hand-in-hand. Luckily, there's no shortage of tasty burgers in Albuquerque!
