Fall is my favorite season! It also happens to be one of the best times of year to travel- and there's no better place to travel to than Santa Fe! Here's why you should visit Santa Fe this fall.
Leaf Peeping
Santa Fe's fall foliage is gorgeous! Immerse yourself in the beauty by taking one of the best local leaf peeping hikes. Don't feel like exercising? Take a drive and admire the leaves! We recommend the Santa Fe National Forest Scenic Byway!

Who doesn't love spending the day picking out pumpkins or exploring a corn maze!? There are numerous pumpkin patches in and near Santa Fe that you'll adore. Many of them also have corn mazes and/or other fun attractions on site! Be sure to pick up a yummy fall treat while you're there.
Fall Festivals
There are many fall festivals that take place in and near Santa Fe! The annual Santa Fe Harvest Festival (October 1 - 2) is an amazing cultural event that has been taking place for 50 years. Looking for an event to put you in the Halloween spirit? Check out Spirits of New Mexico Past (October 22). Want to explore Santa Fe's creative culinary scene?
