Labor Day is a fun time to visit Albuquerque. Here are a few of the many awesome activities that you can enjoy here this weekend as you savor the end of the summer season.
Spend time on the water: Spend the afternoon on a guided stand-up paddleboard trip with MST Adventures or chase an adrenaline rush rafting with New Mexico River Adventures!
Visit an amusement park: We recommend heading to Cliff's Amusement Park for a day full of family fun. Cliff's is a combination amusement park and water park with lots of exciting rides. They close for the season after Labor Day weekend, so visit while you still can!
Go shopping: Snag some great deals this Labor Day! Search for bargains on big-name brands at Coronado Center, Cottonwood Mall, or ABQ Uptown. You can also head to Old Town to look for unique souvenirs or Nob Hill if you want to browse through indie boutiques, shops, and galleries.
Take a hike: Enjoy the nice weather by going for a hike. There are lots of terrific hiking trails around Petroglyph National Monument, Sandia Mountain Wilderness, and Albert G. Simms Park.
Visit a farmers market: Browse an assortment of locally grown foods and handmade artisan goods while enjoying entertainment at a local farmers market. There are a variety of growers markets that take place around town, including Rail Yards Market and Downtown Growers Market.
Happy Labor Day! Hope to see you in Albuquerque!
