141 year old Santa Fe Southern Railway shut down in 2012. Now, eight years later, it has been rebranded as an adventure train. The new Sky Railways offers magical, fantasty-filled experiences that are sure to delight visitors from all over. Since George R.R. Martin, the author of Game of Thrones, is involved in the revival of the train, you can rest assured that the train will be full of unexpected delights.
The train wants to avoid being an "average" railway. The outside of the trains are painted to represent Martin's popular books. The inside of the train has been carefully redone to pay tribute to 1920s train travel. Riders can relax in a glamorous train car and enjoy entertainers, music, dinner parties, cocktails, and more as they cruise between Santa Fe and Lamy.
