New Mexico's best and biggest annual steampunk celebration returns this weekend! On August 19 and 20, come to Edgewood and partake in the fun at the 4th annual Pirate Viking Summer Festival!

At the Pirate Viking Summer Festival, people from all over come together to have fun and indulge in a bit of fantasy. The festival will feature games, craft vendors, food, drinks, characters, and much more. If you're in the market for new gear, swords, or jewelry, then this is the place to shop! Competitions will include water fights and tug-o-war. You'll also love the tavern!
The festival proudly boasts live mermaids, entertainers, storyteller shows, sword dancing, 100 craft vendors, food vendors, craft beers, and mead.

The live entertainment lineup is awesome. Throughout the weekend, you can dance to The Bilge Pumps, The Tingley Beach Buccaneers Band, The Brethren of the Sunken Skull, Professor Nickels, The Crimson Pirates, and Johnny Hixx. There will also be special events featuring Kim Vivian (viking History of ships and camps) and the NM Gunfighters Association. Parking is free. Kids age 17 and under are free with a ticketed adult. Furthermore, some of the proceeds from each pre-sold ticket go to supporting Wildlife West Nature Park Zoo. There's no reason not to come!
